Elysian Pumpkin Beers Return For Fall

I know, I know.  It’s not Fall yet.  However, that doesn’t mean that breweries can’t start bringing us their Fall releases, does it?  Elysian Brewing Company doesn’t think so.  In fact they’ve already released their Night Owl Pumpkin Ale.  

Now, joining Night Owl Pumpkin Ale, three other pumpkin beers are making their annual return from Elysian: Great Pumpkin Imperial Pumpkin Ale, Dark o’ the Moon Pumpkin Stout, and Punkuccino Coffee Pumpkin Ale.

Tickets On Sale Now For The 12th Annual Great Pumpkin Beer Festival

They make pie out of it.  They put it in your latte.  They put it’s scent into air fresheners.  Heck, they put it in just about everything these days the moment any hint of Fall is in the air.  Of course, the very best way to use that wonderful gourd known as the pumpkin is in beer.

Elysian Brewing Company understand this, and they have for a very long time.  So, back for 2016 is the 12th Annual Great Pumpkin Beer Festival.  For the past few years, this event has been taking place at Elysian’s relatively new production brewing facility in Georgetown.  This year, however, it’s moving to Elysian Fields on 1st Avenue South.

The Great Pumpkin Beer Festival Kicks Off This Friday – Updated With Photos

Fall has arrived in the Great Northwest with a vengeance.  We’ve got colder temperatures, abundant rain and bitter wind; but it’s not all bad news.  The arrival of Fall also brings Elysian Brewing‘s annual Great Pumpkin Beer Festival.  Its the biggest annual celebration of pumpkin beer around and has grown into one of the largest Fall events in the Northwest.

This will be the 9th Annual Great Pumpkin Beer Festival Elysian has hosted, and it just keeps getting bigger every year.  At this year’s festival, you’ll find over 64 different pumpkin beers all pouring at once (full list below) and you can expect to see the largest ‘Great Pumpkins’ in the history of this illustrious festival.  We’re talking HUGE!
