A Tribute To Brandi & Bailei:
My wonderful wife Lynn and I were married nearly 16 years ago and, though we wanted to start a family, having kids just wasn’t in the cards for us. So, instead, we adopted two wonderful ‘fur babies’: Brandi and Bailei. We got Brandi first (mini) and then got Bailei (standard) about a year later to keep Brandi company. They fell in love with each other and we fell in love with them – more than we ever realized was possible.
Sadly, due to her age and failing health, we had to send Bailei over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, April 27th. It was one of the most difficult things we have ever had to do and it has hit my wife and I, as well as Brandi, extremely hard.
Just 4 months after Bailei passed on, Brandi fell ill and never recovered. We believe she willed herself to death, because she missed her sister so much. We sent her over the rainbow bridge on August 22, 2016 to be with her sister, and have never felt so alone since. We always knew that Brandi wouldn’t last long after Bailei passed. They were simply too close. They were a true bonded pair, and Brandi was lost without Bailei.
Since Lynn and I were never able to have children, our girls were our life. We loved them as anyone would love their own children and we will miss Brandi & Bailei just as much. Goodbye, sweet girls. You both brought more Love and joy into our lives than we ever knew was possible.
