With so many breweries in Seattle, it seems like there’s always an anniversary celebration just around the corner (not that I’m complaining or anything!). Over the past few months I’ve told you about anniversary celebrations from such local breweries as Lucky Envelope, Hellbent, Stoup and Naked City and there’s still more anniversary celebrations to come before the year is out.
Now Two Beers Brewing Company (CBM Sponsor) is getting ready to celebrate a major milestone. Coming up on Saturday, November 4th, they’ll be celebrating their 10th Anniversary. Rather than celebrating for just one day, however, Two Beers has nearly an entire week of events lined up, culminating with the Grand Celebration on the 4th.
Here is some more information from Two Beers Brewing Company:

The week long celebration gets under way tonight at Keep the Pint Night. With 4 different pint glass designs to choose from, order a pint and keep the glass (limit 1 per person).
Next up, on November 1st, will be the Overhang Wax Dipping Party. It’s a fun way to get involved as you help Two Beers wax dip the bottles for the Overhang Imperial Porter release on the 2nd. The Wax Dip Party is a ticketed event and there are two shifts (3 – 5:30 pm and 5:30 – 8 pm). Hurry if you want to participate, as there aren’t many spots left. Then, come back on the 2nd for the official release of 2017 Overhang Imperial Porter. Grab a few bottles and enjoy some right off the tap.
The Thursday and Friday celebrations will be tap takeover events at the Hopvine Pub and Park Public House respectively. So if you can’t make it down to Two Beers for the Grand Celebration on the 4th, at least you have a few other options.

-Experimental Dark Cherry Sour

I’ve been following, supporting and enjoying Two Beers Brewing’s beers for nearly their full 10 year existence and I’ve been covering them for at least half that time, since early 2012 when I began writing about beer. I’ve watched them transform and grow from tiny taproom with just a few stools to the wonderful, beautiful, spacious version of ‘The Woods’ taproom we all enjoy today – a taproom that they share, of course, with Seattle Cider Company and Bread and Circuses, who have just debuted their Fall tapas-style menu (which still features old favorites like their Circus Burger and Brussels Sprout Caesar).
I’d also like to offer a special congratulations to Two Beers’ founder, Joel VandenBrink. He began Two Beers Brewing Company a decade ago, brewing less than 100 barrels a year in a small garage-sized space. He had had big dreams but, more importantly, he had the drive and ambition to turn those dreams into a incredible success. Congratulations on an amazing 10 years, Joel!
With a whole week of events lined up, you’ve got plenty of chances to come down to SoDo (or to the Hopvine or Park Public House) and help Two Beers celebrate. I’ll be there tonight for Keep The Pint night and back tomorrow for the Overhang Wax Dipping Party. I’ll also, of course, be there on the 4th for the Grand Celebration. I hope to see you at one or more of these events this week.
Drink responsibly and stay safe out there.
