For some reason, I just wasn’t into the whole Pumpkin beer thing this year. I have enjoyed Pumpkin beers in the past but, for some reason, they just didn’t appeal to me this year. What I’ve been waiting for instead are the Winter Ales and Lagers. Lucky for me, they’re beginning to arrive.
One such Winter time beer that I’ve had before and really enjoyed is making its return. This coming Saturday, October 29th, Black Raven Brewing Company (CBM Sponsor) is releasing their Frost Beak Winter Lager.
Here is some more information about this release from Black Raven Brewing Company:
FROST BEAK WINTER LAGER
The perfect beer for the transition of our Northwest weather. Influenced and inspired by great European dark lagers.
Malts: Pilsner, Vienna, Munich, Carafa, Crystal
Hops: Northern Brewer, Opal, Hersbrucker6.2% ABV
Frost Beak Winter Lager will be available both on tap and to go in growlers and 22 oz bottles. So come on out Black Raven tomorrow when The Raven’s Nest opens at noon to have a Frost Beak on tap, and don’t forget to fill a growler and take a few 22 oz bottles to go. You should also be able to find Frost Beak in local craft bottle shops within the next week or so.
Drink responsibly and stay safe out there.
