The craft beer scene in the Puget Sound is rather large, so there are a number of different writers out there covering it. Beyond Craft Beer Monger, of course, we have the Washington Beer Blog, Northwest Beer Guide, Northwest Brewing News, Two Brew Review, BrewDad and many more.
Each of these writers, including myself, have a passion for great craft beer. Now, BrewDad writer Mike Besser is taking his passion for great craft beer beyond writing and opening up his own tap and bottle shop. Next month, Northwest Caps & Taps in Bonney Lake will become BrewDad’s of Bonney Lake.
Here is some more information from BrewDad himself:
Breaking News – BrewDad is moving on to a new adventure! He worked his last shift at Top Rung Brewing, and is becoming an entrepreneur, running his own beer bar/bottle shop. This has been a lifelong dream and he’s so excited to finally see it happen. In early July, he will acquire NW Caps & Taps of Bonney Lake, WA which will become BrewDad’s of Bonney Lake.
Where the heck is Bonney Lake? It’s in the Shadow of Mt Rainer and the gateway to Crystal Mountain. Just of Hwy 410 as you are coming or going from your day’s adventures. Stop in and say “hi”. BrewDad’s of Bonney Lakewill have growler fills, bottles, cans and they’ll have a tasty pint waiting for you!
The Craft Beer industry has been incredibly supportive of all BrewDad’s endeavors and he hopes to now grow into his own as a ublican. His Craft Beer education will never end as he continues to learn all he can about this wonderful product and industry.
