The PNA Winter Beer Taste Is Coming This Saturday

This coming Saturday, November 14th, is the 28th Annual PNA (Phinney Neighborhood Association) Winter Beer Taste – Aka: Beer Wars: The Wort Awakens.  That’s right. This event has been going strong for 28 years now.  Amazing.

This popular annual event will give you 10 tastes from a selection of 30 NW breweries, pub style snacks and a silent auction of awesome beer stuff.

The Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA) will host its 28th annual beer taste on Saturday, November 14, at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave N, Seattle, WA.  Preview Tasting for Patron tickets opens at 6:15 pm and regular admission opens at 7 pm.

Thirty one Northwest microbreweries will offer samples of their new winter ales and other favorite beers.  Tickets cost $25 for PNA members, $30 for the general public and $10 for designated drivers.

Patron tickets cost $50 for PNA members, $55 for the general public and $25 for designated drivers. Admission includes a selection of ten tastes of microbrews,  pub snacks and a silent auction of unique and not so unique beer paraphernalia. Patron tickets include a $25 donation, commemorative tasting glass, sliders and slaw and 6:15 pm admission to the event. Tickets can be purchased online at http://phinneycenter.org/beer/index.html or at the Phinney Neighborhood Center.

Participating breweries include American,  Anacortes, Alsan, Black Raven, Boundary Bay, Bluebird, Chuckanut, Counterbalanace, Diamond Knot, DruBru, Finnriver Ciner, Flying Bike Cooperative, Fremont, Georgetown, Hellbent, Hale’s, Harmon, Hilliard’s, Lazy Boy, Lucky Envelope, Maritime Pacific, Naked City, NW Peaks, Odin, Populuxe, Rooftop, Reuben’s, Salish Sea, Scuttlebutt, Sierra Nevada, Seattle Cider, Silver City, Spinnaker Bay, Stoup, Two Beers, Woodinville Cider.
