Breakside Brewery Brings Salted Caramel Stout To Seattle

Do you enjoy stout?  Do you enjoy salted caramels?  Then Breakside Brewery, out of Portland & Milwaukie Oregon, has beer new to the Seattle market that should be right up your alley.  Popular at Breakside in Oregon already, this unique beer is the result of a collaboration between Breakside Brewery and Salt & Straw Ice Cream out of Portland, Oregon and is set to release during three special events over the next couple of days.

Portland & Milwaukie, Oregon based Breakside Brewery is pleased to be introducing their latest seasonal – Salted Caramel Stout to the Seattle market. Celebrating the roll-out, Breakside’s Brewmaster Ben Edmunds and Lead Brewery Sam Barber will be at three different release parties pouring the SCS on draft as well as select other Breakside specialty beers. Salted Caramel Stout is also now available in 22oz bottles in Seattle through Click Distributing.

About Salted Caramel Stout: A collaboration with Salt & Straw Ice Cream, Salted Caramel Stout has been one of our most popular draft seasonal brews now for the first time available in bottles. A rich stout base mixes with sea salt and specially­ made salted. this beer is rich and balanced with a luscious caramel flavor in the mid palate, a hint of salt in the finish, and a smooth roastiness.

Beer Specs: 6.7% ABV  –  28 IBU

Malts: Two Row, Chocolate, Roasted Barley, CaraMunich, Flaked Barley

Hops: Newport

Special Ingredients: Salted caramel, Sea salt

Available 2/1/2014­ – 4/1/2014 on draft and in 22oz bottles in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, British Columbia and Japan.
