One of Washington’s smallest and most unique breweries, Foggy Noggin Brewing in Bothell, has announced a special barrel aged tasting event. Those in attendance will have the rare opportunity to sample 4 different barrel aged beers from Foggy Noggin, as well as comparing those barrel aged beers to their base beer, non-barrel aged counterparts.
Set for Friday, December 20th, this is an extremely limited event. Only 20 tickets are available, so be sure to register early if you don’t want to miss your chance. Tickets are $25 per person, and this is a 21 and over only event. The barrel aged beers that will be featured at this event include:
- Twice Kastrated Dawg (An Imperial English Strong Ale aged in Lagavulin Oak barrels)
- Twice Kastrated Dawg (An Imperial English Strong Ale aged in Woodinville Whiskey barrels)
- Wasky (A Burton Style Ale aged in Woodinville Whiskey barrels)
- Big Chief (An Imperial Irish Red aged in Woodinville Whiskey barrels)
Foggy Noggin head brewer, Jim Jamison, says he may add a second tasting session later in December if this one sells out quickly, but I wouldn’t take the chance. If you really want to taste these rare beers, contact Foggy Noggin Brewing today to reserve your spot at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Drink responsibly and stay safe out there.
