Get Your Homebrew Canned On March 30th & 31st At Sound Homebrew

Filling The Can

An interesting opportunity has come up for local homebrewers.  Have you ever wanted to can your homebrew?  Now’s your chance.  The guys over at Sound Homebrew Supply have been working recently with Northwest Canning and have setup this event to make canning available to homebrewers on March 30th and 31st.  If you can have a batch of homebrew kegged and ready to go that weekend, then you can get your beer canned.

From Sound Homebrew Supply:

You can have a chance to have your homebrew in a sleek, blank 16 oz. aluminum can.  This is the first time this has been available to homebrewers in the Seattle region.

All you need to bring is a Cornelius Keg of carbonated beer, and the Northwest Canning equipment will handle everything else.  The rate will be $25 for a 5 gallon batch, or $60 for 15 gallons (can be split up into multiple kegs).  You will receive around 35 16 oz. cans topped with sturdy PakTech 4-pack holders.

Even if you won’t have any beer you want to get canned, this will still be a great chance to see some modern canning equipment and talk to some packaging professionals.  Swing by anytime either of the days, as we’ll also be featuring specials on Cornelius Keg systems and a whole host of other items in the store!

We will be hosting the canning crew on-site on March 30th and 31st (Saturday and Sunday), from 10am to 6pm.  Feel free to contact us and get signed up for a spot!  Space is limited and filling fast, so make sure you don’t miss out.

If you’d like to sign up to get your homebrew canned, contact Sound Homebrew Supply ASAP to hold your spot at:

Sealing The Top Of The Can

I don’t think I’ll be able to brew in time for this event, but for those of you who can, this is a great opportunity.  Labels are up to you.  Get creative with it!

Drink responsibly and stay safe out there.
